Should I Buy a New Construction Home?

If you are thinking about purchasing a new home, you get to pick out your Lot and floor plan with a Builder of your choice, you can pick your colors, kitchen, number of baths, flooring, interior, and exterior design, and more. You can also choose a spec home, a home just completed or almost completed and you can pick a few options or upgrades that have not been added yet. Most of the Builders build Fortified Construction Homes which means they are Gold, Silver, or Bronze level for the best protection of your new home.

Your new home comes with a one-year warranty, depending on the Builder, and up to 10 years for structural items. Energy efficiency is common which saves you money year after year. A new home can reflect the way you want to live.

New Construction Home is a fantastic opportunity for home Buyers in Baldwin County. In Baldwin County we have several popular Builders to choose from: D.R. Horton, Holiday Builders, Emerald Homes, Truland Homes, Adams Homes, and DSLD Homes to mention a few. Each of these Home Builders offers different and unique bonuses, upgrades and financing when purchasing a new home. Buying new construction usually requires a small down payment, just like other home purchases. If you need help with getting pre-approved for your new home, we can connect you with a local trusted lender. We are experienced in working with these New Home Builders and it is FREE to represent you. We will help you find the right New Home Builder for your next house.

Should I Buy an Existing Home For Sale?

If you are looking to buy an existing home on the market, you will be generally looking at established Neighborhoods. There will be HOA (Home Owner Association) which may have fewer restrictions in subdivisions that have been existing over time. Once you find the right home to purchase, you will make an offer on an existing home and you will likely close within 30 to 45 days. Many home buyers are looking for a good deal and may consider making an offer on a fixer-upper or a home that may need a little TLC or a few repairs to save time and money on their investment. In older and established homes, you will find unique features you may not find in newer homes. You need a Realtor who can negotiate the best price for your budget and get the home you want. That's where we come in. And the best part is that the Seller pays for our commission; Not You!

When relocating to Baldwin County and if you choose to buy a New Home Construction or an existing house is what you are looking for, let's get together and we can answer any questions you may have about purchasing your next home.
